Greenhills Electrics, a dynamic and growing electrical service company based in Melbourne, is seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. We provide a broad range of electrical services, with a focus on Electrical, Network, and Air Conditioning work.

Role Details:

  • Competitive hourly rate (negotiable based on experience).

  • Part-Time role starting at 1-2 days per week, with flexibility to increase hours as the company grows.

  • Fully equipped office in Thomastown.

  • Potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position, offering significant growth opportunities.

The Aim of This Role:

The aim of this role is to assist our Office Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. You will play a key role in managing daily tasks, supporting client relationships, and ensuring efficient office management, all while contributing to the success of Greenhills Electrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception duties: managing phone calls and emails

  • General administrative tasks and office support

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients

  • Assisting the Head of Administration with larger projects and day-to-day operations

  • Scheduling and managing job calendars

  • Maintaining office cleanliness and organisation

  • Assisting with stock management

  • Supporting invoicing and quoting processes

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal)

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

  • Ability to multi-ask and thrive in a fast paced environment

  • Basic computer skills (Email, Word, and online systems)

  • Bookkeeping skills (experienced preferred but not required)

  • Experience with Xero and Aroflo is a bonus but not essential

  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
